After teaming with Carlito to defeat Triple H in a Handicap Steel Cage Match last week, Mr. McMahon felt a little cocky… maybe a little too cocky. He said he had The Game’s number. Next Monday on Raw, our fans will find out whether the Chairman really has game when he takes on The Cerebral Assassin one-on-one.

These two uncontrollable freight trains will bear down on each other, fueled by years of pent up rage and animosity. The match will punctuate several weeks of Triple H serving up just desserts to the Chairman by humiliating him over his illegitimate son, Hornswoggle. Is Triple H’s hatred for the Chairman taking him out of his game? Or will he make Mr. McMahon pay for his bravado?

Also, in other Raw news, Randy Orton continues to indulge in mind games with John Cena and his family. In an ominous taped message to the WWE Champion, the conniving challenger implored Cena to bring his father to next week’s Raw so that Mr. Cena might see a preview of what will happen to his son at their upcoming Last Man Standing Match at No Mercy on Oct. 7. What insidious psychological trap is Orton laying this time?

In tag team action last week, The Highlanders showed that their patience has worn incredibly thin over their lack of championship opportunities. The unpredictable Scottish cousins assailed Paul London & Brian Kendrick just as the duo were positioned to score the pinfall over World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch.

The surprise attack was an effort to torpedo their chances at another title match. Will The Highlanders naked ambition continue to make trouble for London & Kendrick on their quest for the gold? Can the high-flyers handle any other surprises the Scots have hidden up their kilts?

RAW Results - 1st Oct, 2007
Location - Cleveland, Ohio
Announcers - J.R. and Jerry 'The King' Lawler

We see three men in the ring and there is NO CHANCE because Vince McMahon comes to the ring. Vince says that tonight’s main event worthy of headlining Wrestlemania will take place. In one corner, it will be the man known as Triple H. In the other corner, it will be the greatest physical specimen in all of mankind, Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Vince guarantees everyone . . . he guaran-damn-tees everyone that the ring announcer will say that the winner of the match will be Mr. McMahon. Vince says that he is confident because of the old adage, actions speak louder than words. We see footage of Vince working over Triple H in the past and getting the best of him. Vince says that the three other men are in the ring because each represents a different fighting style. The first man is a four-time All-American from Lehigh. The second man is a fifth degree Kempo Karate champion. Vince does the crane. The third man is the Ohio state sumo champion. Vince says that they are going to have a demonstration of what he is going to do to Triple H in whatever town they are in.

Vince takes off his jacket and all three men approach Vince. Vince stops and then he says that he will bring out someone to show what they are going to do to Triple H at No Mercy.

Umaga comes to the ring. Umaga goes after the sumo champ and kicks him in the face. Umaga takes down the other two and then he punches the karate champion. Umaga sends the amateur wrestler into the corner. Umaga then kicks the kempo champion. Umaga charges and hits the running butt splash on the amateur champion. Umaga does the same to the kempo champion. Umaga picks up the sumo champion and he gives him the Samoan Spike. Umaga gives the Kempo Champion a Samoan Drop.We go to commercial.

Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy, Brian Kendrick, and Paul London versus and Shelton Benjamin and the World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch

Murdoch and London start things off and Murdoch with a side head lock. London with a reverse atomic drop followed by a rana and then Kendrick is tagged in. London with a drop toe hold followed by a drop kick to Murdoch’s head by Kendrick. Murdoch runs Kendrick into his corner and Benjamin is tagged in. Kendrick fights out of the corner with punches but Benjamin with a military press into a gutbuster. Cade is tagged in and he kicks Kendrick. Cade with a forearm to Kendrick’s back and then he sends Kendrick face first into the top of the ring post. Murdoch tags in and hits an elbow to the midsection followed by a chop. Murdoch works on Kendrick’s neck. Kendrick with a drop kick and he tags in Hardy who hits a slingshot kick on Cade. Hardy knocks Benjamin and Murdoch off the apron and then he hits a leg drop to Cade’s midsection. Hardy with a drop kick and then he slams Cade’s head into the turnbuckle. Hardy hits Whisper in the Wind and then he goes up top for a Swanton but Benjamin crotches Hardy. London hits a cross body onto Benjamin while Kendrick goes after Murdoch. Kendrick hits Sliced Bread #2 on Cade while the referee was dealing with Murdoch. Hardy hits the Swanton for the three count.

Winners: Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy, Paul London, and Brian Kendrick

William Regal is in his office and he says that he is doing better than ever. Vince welcomes Regal back to his position as General Manager. Vince says that Coach is under the weather. Vince congratulates Regal on his matchmaking skills. Regal talks about the Cena/Kennedy match. Vince says that he better get ready for his match with Triple H. Vince asks Regal to look after his son. Regal asks if he means Shane. Hornswoggle appears and Vince says that he holds Hornswoggle responsible for Hornswoggle’s well-being. Regal looks around for Hornswoggle and cannot find him in the sofa or behind a photo.

We go to footage from five weeks ago when Randy Orton kicked John Cena’s father in the head. We go to commercial.

We are back with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. He says that Randy is live from Chicago. Jim Ross asks Orton why he is not in the arena tonight since he will be wrestling John Cena at No Mercy. Orton says that he chose not to come to Cleveland and will wait in Chicago for John Cena. He does not want to show up with Cena in his current state of mind. Cena has not been the same mentally since his father was beaten up. Orton says that he would love to see the footage again, and we see the footage. We see the footage from two weeks ago of Orton’s match against John’s father. Randy says that he did what he did for a reason. At Unforgiven, Mr. Cena got involved. He was not standing two weeks ago, like John will not be standing on Sunday. Orton says that it is not to his advantage to meet Cena tonight. That is why he is in Chicago tonight. He wonders if Cena has thought about his strategy for the match. Orton says that he will do everything to become the WWE Champion at No Mercy.

We see a few members of the American League Central Division Champions Cleveland Indians.

We go to the latest from Diva Search: The Silicone Menace. This week it is the Obstacle Course for the remaining contenders. The next segment is Diva Rapid Fire.

We see William Regal continuing to look for Hornswoggle. Regal is walking in the back and he asks the Highlanders if they see Hornswoggle. Regal asks the Highlanders why they refused to face London and Kendrick. Rory says that the only match they want is a World Tag Title Match. He says that last week was a statement. They came to the WWE to become the tag champions and they will do it whether Regal likes it or not. We go to commercial.

We are back with a segment about Lillian Garcia’s new album.

We see footage from last week’s match between Cody Rhodes and Bob Holly.

Cody Rhodes versus Bob Holly

Rhodes with a side head lock but Holly with a shoulder tackle. Rhodes with arm drags to Holly for a near fall. Rhodes with an arm bar. Holly with a drop kick for a near fall. Holly chops Rhodes in the corner but Rhodes with forearms followed by a backslide for a near fall. Rhodes with an inside cradle for a two count. Holly slaps Rhodes in the face and then he tries to suplex Rhodes but Rhodes with a rollup. Holly gets Rhodes up for the Alabama Slam and hits it for the three count.

Winner: Bob Holly

We are back and the Undertaker is back in WWE Magazine.

Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and she takes the mic from Lillian before she leaves the ring. Beth introduces herself and she says that she is just as beautiful as she is dangerous. It means that it is a matter of time before she becomes the Women’s Champion. She says that it is just formality before she beats Candice Michelle on Sunday. Beth asks Lillian to announce her as the new champion. Lillian announces Beth as the new champion. Lillian says that is assuming she can beat Candice on Sunday. Beth wonders what Lillian meant by ‘assuming’. Beth asks Lillian how it will be to promote her new album with a crushed throat. Beth chokes Lillian, but Candice comes to the ring and she attacks Beth from behind. Candice hits a flying clothesline on Beth.

We go to Triple H in the back and he is taping his hand for his match with Vince McMahon.

We go back to Umaga’s return to the ring as he destroyed three men.

Triple H drinks some water before he walks into a commercial.

We are back with the Save_Us.222 segment of the week.

Vince gets on the mic and he wants to remind Triple H of a recent incident. We see footage of Triple H hitting Umaga in the head repeatedly with a steel chair. Vince tells them to cut Hunter’s music and he says that is enough showboating crap. He wants the match to begin. Vince asks for a referee and Carlito comes to the ring.

Vince slaps Hunter while Carlito checks Hunter for any foreign objects. Vince goes to the ropes as soon as the bell rings. Hunter does not approve of Vince’s wrestling tactics. Vince goes outside the ring and Hunter is held back by the referee. Carlito starts to count Vince out. Hunter chases after Vince and Vince returns to the ring only to leave one more time. Hunter goes out after Vince and punches him and then he slams Vince’s head into the announce table. Hunter rolls Vince back into the ring and then Carlito argues with Hunter and he pushes Hunter. Hunter pushes Carlito back. Hunter sets up for the Pedigree, but Carlito gives Hunter a lungblower. Carlito makes a quick two count before Hunter kicks out. Vince hits Hunter in the corner but Hunter with a low blow and then he hits Carlito. Carlito calls for the bell.

After the match
Hunter picks up Vince but Umaga comes to the ring. Umaga and Hunter exchange punches. Umaga with a head butt to Hunter and then he punches Hunter. Hunter tries for a clothesline on Umaga, but Umaga stays on his feet. Umaga stays up after another one. Umaga gets Hunter up for a Samoan Drop but Hunter gets out of the hold. Hunter with a DDT, but Umaga pops back up and hits a thrust to the throat. Hunter gets a boot up when Umaga charges into the corner. Umaga with a super kick and then he hits a running butt splash into the corner. Carlito clotheslines Hunter over the top rope to the floor. Umaga yells at Carlito and Carlito leaves the ring and heads to the back. Hunter finds the GameHammer under the ring. Hunter enters the ring. Hunter wants Umaga to charge at him but Umaga leaves the ring. We go to commercial.

We are back with Marella at the Movies and there are two chairs in the ring. Santino Marella and Maria come to the ring. Santino welcomes everyone and introduces his co-host Maria. Santino says that he is going to review The Condemned. Maria says that she likes Stone Cold and she thought the movie was a lot of fun. Marella says that if you like bashing your brain with a meat mallet it is fun. Santino says that you need a real star. You need someone with charisma and someone the camera loves. He says someone like Santino Marella. We go to Santino added into scenes from The Condemned. Santino says that was how the movie should have ended. He says that there is a job somewhere at a Dinner Theater or he could play Mister Belding in a Saved by the Bell movie.

Val Venis’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Val has a mic and a No Mercy shirt. Val says that he has been the star of many movies and he knows a thing about acting talents. Marella says that he heard that Val did a movie based on Shrek. Santino says that he cannot believe what Val did to that donkey. Val says that he was talking about Maria and he says that he is starring in a sequel to Mr. Woodcock. Santino wants to leave but Val says that Maria can star in his movie or a movie based on Santino’s love making skills . . . Superbad. Santino attacks Val and slams Val’s knee into the mat. Santino and Maria head to the back.

Todd Grisham is with WWE Champion John Cena in the interview area. Todd asks Cena about whether he is acting like himself. He says that Cena has already lost the match from a psychological standpoint. Cena says that people are saying that Randy Orton is ten seconds away from being the next WWE Champion. Cena says that they are a creepy group. They are saying that they have seen enough, that Cena sucks, and that his time is up. They are also saying that Todd Grisham has naked photos of Umaga on his website. Cena says that amidst all of their talk and opinions, they know that No Mercy is his time. He can be hit by anything that Randy Orton can hold. Cena says that he will get up and stand tall in the center of the ring wearing his own blood if necessary. He says that they have seen this look in his eyes. Regardless of what they feel, on the grandest stage when the weight of the world is on their shoulders, there is one man who will always deliver and never quit. Cena says to let them talk. At No Mercy, he will beat Randy Orton so bad that they will never forget it. We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage of Hornswoggle watching Melina towel off after her shower and then the chase down the hallway. We then see Hornswoggle remove Melina’s towel.

Melina versus Mickie James

We have a collar and elbow tie up and Melina tosses Mickie down to the mat. They lock up again and Mickie with a knee to the midsection and then she tosses Melina by the hair. Mickie with a Louise Thesz Press. Melina with a gutbuster for a near fall. Melina tosses Mickie by the hair and she pulls Mickie’s hair. Melina kicks Mickie and she tries to throw Mickie into the ring post but Mickie counters. Mickie with forearms to Melina followed by flying clotheslines. Mickie with an enzuigiri for a two count. Melina kicks Mickie in the head and she gets a two count. Melina with an Irish whip into the corner but Mickie with a head scissors take down. Melina screams and then she sees Hornswoggle. Mickie drops down and gets a rollup for the three count.

After the match
Melina goes under the ring after Hornswoggle. We see Hornswoggle come out from under the ring with Melina’s top. He goes underneath the ring again and he emerges with the rest of her ring gear. Melina wants her clothes back and Hornswoggle runs to the back. We go to commercial.

We are back and Hornswoggle is playing with Melina’s clothes. Regal says that he has been looking for Hornswoggle all night. Steve O enters the room and he talks about his new show. Regal looks for Hornswoggle but Hornswoggle has disappeared again. Regal admires Melina’s clothes.

It is time to run through the card for No Mercy:

Steve O is walking and he sees Ron Simmons. Steve O says that he can make Ron Simmons tougher. He asks Simmons if he is interested. Simmons grabs Steve O and throws him out the door. Time to go DAMN.

Ken Kennedy says what better way to make a statement than to take out the top dog and what better person than Mr. Kennedy . . . Kennedy.

John Cena versus Ken Kennedy

Cena and Kennedy lock up and Kennedy with a side head lock. Kennedy with a shoulder tackle but Cena with a hip toss and arm drag into an arm bar. Kennedy gets to the corner and Cena releases the hold. Kennedy with a kick to the midsection followed by a series of kicks to Cena on the mat. Kennedy chokes Cena and the referee admonishes Kennedy. Cena with an Irish whip followed by a bulldog out of the corner. Cena with a punch to Kennedy but Kennedy with a rake of the eyes. The action moves outside the ring and Kennedy goes after Cena. Kennedy slams Cena’s head into the ring steps and then Kennedy rolls in to break up the count. We go to commercial.

We are back and Kennedy with a forearm followed by a DDT to Cena for a two count. Kennedy with a reverse chin lock to Cena but Cena gets back to his feet. Cena with a belly-to-back suplex followed by a drop toe hold and then Cena locks in the STFU. Kennedy taps.

Winner: John Cena

After the match
Randy Orton comes in from out of nowhere and hits an RKO on Cena. Orton leaves the ring and he grabs the ring steps. Orton hits Cena in the head with the ring steps. Orton rearranges the announce table and grabs a television monitor and hits Cena in the head with it. They go on the announce table and Orton hits an RKO on the announce table. Orton counts Cena out. We go to credits.
