Liverpool central defender Daniel Agger has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a metatarsal injury.
The Denmark international, 23, will undergo surgery on his troublesome foot injury early next week after being sidelined since September.

"It's a blow for Daniel but we want to get his problem sorted," Rafa Benitez told the club's official website.

"We have defensive cover and Martin Skrtel is playing very well, Daniel will be back for next season."

This is fucking shitty, is he ever fit? He is a fantastic player but he can't seem to get off the damn treatment table with that foot, I just really hope that Skrtel turns out to be a good signing because with Agger always limping around we need another defender, we can't keep depending on good old Sammi, he is getting old man, he can't move like he used to.
