Update on Matt Morgan's American Gladiator Status

After TNA's Matt Morgan initially turned down an NBC American Gladiators contract offer due to the length (six years of options) and the amount of power NBC would have over his career outside of the TV series, NBC recently re-opened negotiations with him, trying to sign him to become part of the second series.
The major hold-up has been that NBC would have right of first refusal for any appearances Morgan would make outside of the series, effectively curtailing any long-term plans or booking TNA would have.
Negotiations are ongoing, but nothing is set in stone, according to TNA sources.
