Raffle won by coffin dodger

An Italian raffle winner has turned down the first prize - a VIP coffin, complete with pillow and an antique brass reading light.
A spokesman for the local Borgo Magna association which promotes tourism in the city of San Marco in southern Italy and which organised the raffle said: "The prize is still valid.
"Whoever won it can give it to someone else if they don't want it and there is no deadline on when it can be claimed."
And locals are appealing to the winner to either claim the prize or allow someone else to have it as soon as possible.
Vincenzo Esposito who lives in the city said: "This is the talk of the entire city now. To be honest there are a lot of people who would be very happy to get a luxury coffin for free - either for themselves or for a relative.
"Some people might see it all as a bit morbid but coffins do not come cheap these days and any money anyone can save on the costs of a funeral is welcome.
"If the person who won this does not want it they should let someone else have it."
