Vince McMahon Still on Cole’s Case

It’s said that Vince McMahon has been on Michael Cole’s case more than ever in the past week or so. As far as Jim Ross and Tazz go, Vince has been on their case as well but he’s not upset with them like he is with Cole. In the case of Ross and Tazz, it’s described as Vince just being Vince. Some feel that giving the Slammy Award to Todd Grisham and Matt Striker for Announce Team of the Year was to send a message to RAW and SmackDown’s announce teams.

There’s a feeling in the company that Vince should lay off the announcers a bit because he basically drove Mick Foley away and could end up causing some of the current announcers to leave. Some of them don’t have a place to go immediately but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t leave.

There have been rumblings among some of the WWE talents that changes in the announce teams could be coming shortly after the first of the year.
