WWE Milking 'Denver Debacle' For Publicity?

As you've probably read by now, the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado double booked next Monday night and WWE Raw has been bumped in favor of Game 4 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers. Vince McMahon appeared on ESPN's Sports Center last night and the "Denver Debacle" got a ton of coverage on ESPN today. Associated Press writer John Christoffersen is suggesting that World Wrestling Entertainment Chairman Vince McMahon is now milking the situation for free publicity. "The dispute provides a welcome shot of publicity. Like other companies, the Stamford, Conn.-based producer of live television wrestling matches is battling the weak economy. One analyst calls the publicity free marketing for wrestling."
