Sitting in a car late one night are a young man reading a book and a young woman knitting a scarf. Suddenly a policeman taps on the window.
"How old are you, fella?" the officer asks suspiciously.
"Nineteen," he replies.
"And how old is she?" inquires the officer.
The young man looks first at his girlfriend, then his watch, and says, "Well, in about 12 minutes, she'll be 18."
