New PPV Series coming to InDemand

A new PPV series titled "Wrestling War Classics" is scheduled to debut on InDemand in August. The PPV series will feature one hour specials devoted to different stars from the video library owned by Angelo and Mario Savoldi, who promoted International Championship Wrestling.

The first one, dedicated to Mick Foley, appears to be footage from his days working for the old Global Wrestling Federation in Texas, as it lists matches against The Patriot and Terry Gordy.

The second, spotlighting Ric Flair, lists matches against Kerry Von Erich, Austin Idol, Terry Funk, Jerry Lawler, and Harley Race. It should be interesting to see where some of the matches are originally from, since the Savoldis have amassed quite the war chest of footage over the years.
