Sting gave Christian Cage his answer on Thursday’s “iMPACT!”, allowing the former World Champion to watch his back in the match against Jeff Jarrett at the “Hard Justice” Pay-Per-View on Sunday, August 13. As a result, Jarrett will bring “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner as well to serve has his backup when he defends the NWA World Heavyweight Title that night against “The Man In Black”. CORNETTE CALLS MEETING – DROPS SEVERAL BOMBSHELLS
TNA Management Director Jim Cornette called for a mandatory meeting on Thursday’s “iMPACT!” and had several major announcements. First, Cornette added new matches for the August 13 “Hard Justice” Pay-Per-View, including AMW vs. The James Gang vs. The Naturals vs. Bentley & Kazarian, with the winner earning a tag team title shot. In addition, Cornette stated that Brother Runt would face Abyss, and in a “Falls Count Anywhere” match it will be Samoa Joe vs. Rhino vs. The Alpha Male! Cornette also announced matches for next Thursday’s “IMPACT!”, with The Paparazzi vs. Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt as well as the huge main event of Christian Cage vs. Scott Steiner!
PETEY WILLIAMS EARNS X CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT AT “HARD JUSTICE”
Five of the top X Division stars competed on Thursday’s “iMPACT!” for a shot at the X Title against Senshi against “Hard Justice”. In the end, it was Petey Williams coming out of nowhere to nail Jay Lethal with the Canadian Destroyer for the victory!
