Walter to guest on 'Big Bang Theory'

Jessica Walter has been announced as a guest star on an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Walter will play Barbara, a rich benefactor whose donation to the university science department depends on Leonard (Johnny Galecki).

Walter previously played Lucille Bluth on the comedy series Arrested Development, which ran from 2003 to 2006.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walter's episode is expected to be televised in February.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS.
