Superstars Report - 30th November 2012

It is time for the latest episode of Superstars where we will see a few new matches and a lot of recaps of this past week’s episode of Raw. Have a seat, but don’t get too comfortable because it is time for a little wrestling.

This week, Superstars was taped at Lafayette, Louisiana and the announcers are Scott ‘Pac 12’ Stanford and Matt ‘Magnum’ Striker.

Match Number One: Santino Marella versus David Otunga

Santino rolls around and then he connects with a series of jabs. Santino with a few arm drags and an arm bar. Otunga with an Irish whip and Santino does some power walking and then he gets a near fall with a jackknife cover. Santino with another arm drag and arm bar. Santino gets a near fall. Santino with a side head lock take down.

Otunga with a head scissors but Santino escapes and applies another arm bar after an arm drag. Otunga with punches and kicks to Santino followed by an Irish whip. Santino with a float over and Otunga runs into Santino’s knee. Santino with a snap mare and a near fall. Santino with a front face lock.

Santino tries for an arm drag but he does not wait for Otunga to come off the ropes. Otunga with a forearm and a neck breaker for a near fall. Otunga with a rear chin lock and slam. Otunga poses because that is what wins matches. Santino with punches but Otunga with a punch and then he hits a suplex and gets a near fall.

Otunga poses again with his knee in Santino’s back. Otunga with a rear chin lock and crossfaces to the head. Santino with punches but Otunga with a back elbow that sends Santino to the floor. Otunga poses and we go to commercial.

We are back and Otunga with a side head lock. Santino counters a neck breaker for a back slide and he gets a near fall. We see footage from the commercial break when Otunga used the ring apron on Santino’s back. Otunga with a flying shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall. Otunga with a slam followed by an elbow drop.

Otunga kicks Santino and then he slingshots him into the bottom rope. Santino tries to kip up while Otunga poses. Otunga with a suplex and Otunga with a body scissors and Dragon sleeper. Santino escapes and gets a near fall. Otunga with a kick and he sends Santino into the turnbuckles. He sends Santino into another turnbuckle and Santino starts to ‘Cobra Up’.

Otunga with a punch and Santino kips up. Santino with punches followed by a split and hip toss. Santino misses the diving head butt and Otunga with an Irish whip. Otunga misses a charge into the corner and Santino pulls out the Cobra and it strikes, giving Santino the three count.

Winner: Santino Marella

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: JTG versus Brodus Clay (with the Funkettes)

JTG with punches to Clay but Clay backs JTG into the ropes and Clay with punches and knees. Clay with an elbow to the midsection and Clay climbs the turnbuckles. JTG pulls Clay off the turnbuckles and then hits a running knee to the head. JTG with a front face lock but Clay with a clothesline.

Clay with another clothesline followed by an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Clay with the Sheeeplex and then he hits a running head butt to the chest. Clay with the big splash for the three count.

Winner: Brodus Clay

After the match, Brodus and the Funkettes bring some children into the ring for some dancing.
