'COUNTDOWN TO UFC 155' PREVIEW SHOW DEBUTS CHRISTMAS DAY AT 11 P.M. ET

The UFC's traditional pre-event show returns this month with the debut of "Countdown to UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II" on FUEL TV.

The one-hour special previews the much anticipated rematch between UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos (15-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and the man he beat to earn the title, former titleholder Cain Velasquez (10-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC).

The show debuts Tuesday, Dec. 25, at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT).

UFC 155, the UFC's traditional year-end blockbuster, takes place Dec. 29 at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.

Dos Santos and Velasquez first met in November 2011 in the UFC's first-ever FOX-broadcast event. The Brazilian needed just 64 seconds to earn a TKO win and claim the belt. Dos Santos went on to defend his belt against former champion Frank Mir while Velasquez rebounded with a first-round TKO victory over Antonio Silva to earn a chance to regain his title.

FUEL TV is currently scheduled to air "Countdown to UFC 155" replays on Dec. 26 (5 a.m. ET and 6 p.m. ET) and Dec. 27 (10 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET).
