UFC 155 Weigh-Ins Set for December 28th at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas

UFC 155 WEIGH-INS SET FOR DEC. 28 AT MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA IN LAS VEGAS

Official fighter weigh-ins for next week's UFC 155 event take place Friday, Dec. 28, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the same venue that hosts the following night's pay-per-view card.

The event is free and open to the public. And in addition, as is customary, members of the UFC Fight Club can get early entrance and attend a fighter question-and-answer session prior to the weigh-ins ceremony.

"UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" takes place Dec. 29 with UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos (15-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) facing former champ and current top contender Cain Velasquez (10-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) in the night's headliner.

UFC 155 also features a lightweight bout between Joe Lauzon (22-7 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Jim Miller (21-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) and middleweight bouts between Tim Boetsch (16-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) and Constantinos Philippou (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC), Alan Belcher (18-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Yushin Okami (27-7 MMA, 11-4 UFC) and Chris Leben (22-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) and Karlos Vemola (9-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC).

Doors to the Dec. 28 weigh-ins open to members of the UFC Fight Club at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT local time). The general public can enter two hours later.

The first fighter is on the scale at 4 p.m. PT local time. At 2 p.m. PT, a fighter yet to be named will host a special Q&A session for members of the UFC Fight Club, the official UFC fan Club.
