Former WWE And WCW Star Arrested For The Fifth Time Since 2007

FOX 13 out of Tampa Bay, Florida reports that former WWE and WCW star Richard Van Slater, aka "Dirty" Dick Slater, was arrested today in Pinellas County, his fifth arrest in the county since 2007.
According to the report, the 61-year-old retired wrestler was arrested this morning for failing to appear in court on a petit theft charge. He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail, where he is being held on a $2,026 bond.

Slater retired from wrestling in 2003 following a series of injuries, and was convicted of attacking his former girlfriend, Theresa Halbert, in June of 2004. Slater blamed the incident on pain killers, and was sentenced with one year of house arrest and two years of probation.
