Lyoto Machida-Phil Davis For UFC 163 In Brazil

According to the Brazilian news source Portaldovaletudo.uol.com, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will face Phil Davis in August.

The two would be part of UFC 163: Aldo Vs. Pettis from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the likely co-main event.

Also if true, that would pave a clear path for Alexander Gustafsson to challenge UFC 205-pound champion Jon Jones later this year.

Machida (19-3) has won two straight, defeating Ryan Bader and Dan Henderson. Davis (11-1-1) is coming off a pair of wins over Wagner Prado and Vinny Magalhaes.
