Show:

RAW opened up with a video package looking at WrestleMania being the biggest event of the year, where moments make history and men become legends, and ambitions are realised. This year, the road begins again as eight men will battle it out in a tournament to go onto the main event of WrestleMania to face the WWE Champion! The fireworks then went off in the arena as Joey Styles, Jerry Lawler and the Coach welcome us to RAW! The Road to WrestleMania Tournament starts tonight, and we will also get to see Candice Michelle’s GoDaddy.com commercial, Uncensored!

In the arena:
Maria is in the ring, and she introduces the former WWE Champion, Edge, who makes his way to the ring with Lita! We go to footage from last week with Edge beating John Cena by disqualification after Lita nailed Edge with the WWE Championship belt, which led to mass confusion. Maria said last week Lita blasted him with the…Edge told Maria to shut up, and said he is pleased to announce that next week on RAW, there is going to be a huge match for the WWE Championship. It’ll be your current and undeserving champion, John Cena, versus the Rated R Superstar himself, Edge! Edge said he’s getting a rematch because last week he beat John Cena! He beat him by disqualification, and that goes down in the record books as a victory for him, and that means he gets a rematch. He said that disqualification happened when Lita nailed him in the head with the title. People have been asking him all week what’s going on with Lita hitting him, and the only person who can answer that is Lita herself. Edge said he doesn’t think so, he’s always four moves ahead of the dumb asses. Edge said the issue isn’t Lita, the issue is him beating Cena for the WWE Championship, and the most watched championship reign in over four years continues, and that means the winner of the Road to WrestleMania Tournament will face him! Edge said to Maria that also means that when she announces him, you don’t have that stupid smile on your face and you don’t call him a former champion. She said he should be happy to be a former champion.

Lita said she will handle this one. Lita said she will make this real easy, take that little microphone and her pretty little lips and announce her man as the future WWE Champion. Maria announced Edge as the future WWE Champion and the crowd booed. The music of Hacksaw Jim Duggan then hit out of nowhere! Duggan made his way down to the ring with his 2X4 and took a mic. Duggan told Edge to take it easy tough guy! He said he heard Vince McMahon was looking for a special referee for the title match next week with John Cena, and who better to call it right down the middle than Hacksaw Jim Duggan! USA! USA! Edge told everyone to shut up and what the hell does the USA have to do with this? He said for the past few weeks he’s been trying to make his girlfriends life a living hell. Duggan said all he did was call her a…Edge cut him off, and Duggan said OK, he won’t say nothing. On second thought, Lita’s a HOOOOOO! Edge nailed Duggan from behind and stomped away at him. Edge picked up the 2X4 and cracked Duggan in the back with it, sending him to the outside of the ring. Lita then started pointing at Maria for laughing and slapped her across the face. Lita tossed Maria around the ring by her hair and then Edge set up for the Spear, but John Cena hit the ring and tackled Edge down. Cena cleaned house and the crowd went nuts as Edge and Lita made their way to the back.


Road To WrestleMania Tournament
Kane vs. Chris Masters
Referee: Jack Doan

The music of Kane hit in the arena as he made his way down to the ring as one half of the World Tag Team Champions, and he’ll be facing Chris Masters in this first round of the Road to WrestleMania Tournament!

The start:

Kane and Masters locked up and Masters backed Kane to the corner but Kane fired back with an uppercut. Kane worked over Masters in the corner, and then hit a back elbow knockdown, but missed an elbow drop. Masters comes back and hits some mounted punches in the corner but Kane threw him off. Kane nailed another uppercut followed by some right hands. Masters came back with a swinging neckbreaker but Kane sat up. Kane tossed Masters to the corner but ate an elbow on the charge. Masters gave Kane snake eyes in the corner, and then called for the Master Lock but walked into a big right hand. Kane hit a big boot and then a running clothesline in the corner.

The Finish:

Kane hit the sidewalk slam and then headed up top. Kane went for the flying clothesline but Masters side stepped and went for the Master Lock, but Kane blocked and went for the Chokeslam but Masters hit a thumb to the eye. Masters went for the Master Lock again but Kane dropped down and hit a boot to the face. Kane nailed a clothesline and then went for a powerslam but Masters dropped out the back and went for the Master Lock, but Kane dropped down again and Masters fell on top of him and hooked the top rope for the three count!

Winner: Chris Masters


Backstage:
Edge and Lita are backstage with Vince McMahon. McMahon confirmed that there will be a special referee next week, and Edge suggested Lita. Vince questioned that she would be biased in his favour, and then Lita went into slut mode. Vince asked if Edge is encouraging his girlfriend to come onto him? He asked what kind of a man Edge is, and said it is pretty admirable, meaning he’d do anything to win the WWE Championship. He said he will allow Edge a chance to pick the special referee next week, so tonight Edge and Lita will face Maria and John Cena!

Backstage:
Ashley is shown warming up backstage, and she is getting a rematch from the Royal Rumble here tonight against Mickie James!


Mickie James vs. Ashley
Special Referee: Trish Stratus

The music of Trish Stratus hit in the arena as she made her way to the ring looking hot as ever as the special referee for the next match between Ashley and Mickie James!

The match:

Mickie tackled Ashley down and stomped away at her. Mickie threw Ashley around by the hair and then Ashley came back with shots to the gut. Mickie hit a back elbow in the corner and then went for the Mickarana but Ashley countered and hit some right hands and forearms. Mickie dived at Ashley and Ashley ducked and Mickie hit Trish by mistake. Ashley rolled Mickie up and Trish counted the three.

Winner: Ashley

The Aftermath:
Trish made her way to the back quickly and Mickie looks confused, and kind of pissed.


During the break:
Footage of the Spirit Squad were shown during the break doing some chant. Lame.

Backstage:
Trish is shown backstage and Mickie comes up and apologises, and said Trish made the right call. Mickie said she knows she seems very passionate at times, but she does love Trish. Trish’s date Jack comes in and he shakes Mickie’s hand, and Trish goes to get dressed. I hate that guy.

Backstage:
Shelton is shown wheeling his momma into the arena and said he had to go confront Ric Flair and said he’ll take his Intercontinental Title, and that Flair called him a momma’s boy. Shelton said he left his phone in the locker room and he’ll be right back. She said he can’t leave her here, or some super freak will come up and get in her face. Shelton said not to worry about it, she saw what happened to Goldust last week, and anyone who messes with his momma is a damn fool. Shelton left and then someone handed her a Shelton Benjamin action figure and it’s Eugene! Hi, my name is Eugene! He said he saw her movie, Big Momma’s House 2! Eugene asked if he can take her wig off, and started yanking! Eugene said Big Mamma rules! Shelton told Eugene to get out of here and momma told Shelton off for leaving her with these crazy ass people!


Road To WrestleMania Tournament
Ric Flair vs. Triple H
Referee: Mickey Henson

It’s time to play the Game as Triple H made his way to the ring for this first round match in the Road to WrestleMania tournament against his heated rival, and current Intercontinental Champion, Ric Flair!

The start:

Triple H and Flair went to lock up but Flair backed off and strutted about. They tied up and Triple H grabbed a side headlock and then hit a shoulder block. Flair came back with a hip toss and then a side headlock takedown into a one count. Triple H backed Flair to the corner and went for a right hand but Flair blocked and unloaded with chops and right hands of his own. Flair went for a back body drop but Triple H hit the facebuster. Triple H went for the Pedigree but Flair backdropped him to the outside as we go to commercial.

Mid-match notes:

Back on RAW and Flair is in control with right and left hands to Triple H in the middle of the ring. During the break, Flair sent Triple H into the ring steps. Back to live action and Triple H came back with a spinebuster. Triple H hammered away with right hands on the Nature Boy and then hit a knee drop. Triple H hit another knee drop and then worked over Flair in the corner with right hands. Flair went to fight back, and then flopped. Triple H nailed another knee drop and covered for two. Triple H sent Flair to the apron and then suplexed him back inside, delayed style, for two.

Triple H nailed more right hands but Flair came back with chops but then Triple H scored with a swinging neckbreaker. Triple H hit a snapmare and then mocked Flair with a strut. Triple H went for the figure four but Flair kicked him off into the turnbuckle. Flair rolled Triple H up for a two count and then went to work with more chops in the corner. Flair ate an elbow on a corner charge and then Triple H went to the middle rope and jumped off but ate boot.

The Finish:

Flair nailed a chopblock to take Triple H down, and then hit another one. Flair went to the top rope and hit a diving forearm for two. Flair nailed another chop and then went for the figure four, and got it locked on! Triple H writhed in pain and eventually made the ropes. Flair went back to the chops in the corner and the referee got his eye poked. Flair nailed a low blow and then chopped away some more on the Game. Flair went for a backdrop but Triple H nailed the Pedigree out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Triple H


Superbowl Commercial:
We are shown the uncensored version of Candice Michelle’s GoDaddy.com Superbowl commercial.

Backstage:
John Cena is shown getting ready backstage, and Maria walked in looking worried. She said that she can’t do it, Lita smacked her and she almost got speared! Cena told her to calm down and relax, and Maria wouldn’t shut up. Cena made out with her to shut her up, which worked. Cena slapped her ass and said he’ll see her out there.


Road To WrestleMania Tournament
Shawn Michaels vs. The Big Show
Referee: Jack Doan

The music of the Big Show hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring as one half of the World Tag Team Champions, for this Road to WrestleMania Tournament first round match with the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels! Before we can get underway, Vince McMahon makes his way out to the stage. McMahon said look, it’s Shawn Michaels. He came out here to inform him that tonight is his lucky night because Shane isn’t here tonight. He said if Shane was here, he’d be in the ring kicking his butt like last week. He said he’s changed his mind about something, and last week Michaels said he could walk out, but Vince would sue him. McMahon said he’s changed his mind and he insists that Michaels walks out on his contract. Next week in that very ring, we’re going to have a Shawn Michaels Retirement Party. All he has to do is sign on the dotted line and his career will be over. McMahon yelled at the crowd to shut up, and said he won’t allow Shawn changing his mind, and his appearance next week at the Retirement Party is mandatory, and since he’s going to retire next week, he’s not going to be at WrestleMania, so therefore he’s not going to be in the tournament and he’s been replaced! With that, the music of Shelton Benjamin hit and he made his way to the ring!


Road To WrestleMania Tournament
The Big Show vs. Shelton Benjamin
Referee: Jack Doan

The start:

We are underway as we come back from commercial with Shelton nailing some right hands on Show. Show comes back with some chops as momma looks on from ringside. Show silenced the crowd and nailed another chop. Shelton came back with a springboard but Show catches him and rams him into the corner. Show perches Shelton to the top rope and chopped him some more. Show climbed up to the middle rope and Shelton nailed some right hands and then hotshotted Show across the top rope!

Mid-match notes:

Shelton nailed the Dragon Whip and Show is still on his feet. Shelton hit a springboard bulldog and covered for one. Shelton hit a short neckbreaker for a two count and Show is up already. Show hit a clothesline, and then another before nailing a powerslam. Show squashed Shelton in the corner and then hit a shoulder block but the referee got knocked down.

The Finish:

Momma grabbed Show’s ankle and he asked what she was doing? Benjamin then hit a roundhouse kick and Show tumbled to the outside. Shelton followed out and got nailed with another chop and then Show press slammed Shelton back into the ring. Momma grabbed Show and he got mad and yelled at her not to touch him and she backed off and fainted! Show hit the chokeslam for the win.

Winner: The Big Show

The Aftermath:
The referee and trainer checked on momma and the trainer said he’s not getting a pulse. A doctor came out and checked on her and then Shelton came to, and tried to check on her and looked very worried as we go to commercial.


During the break:
During the commercial, momma was wheeled to the back on a stretcher with Shelton looking very concerned.

Backstage:
Todd Grisham is with Carlito in the back, and he’ll be facing Rob Van Dam tonight. Carlito speaks in Spanish, and said he spat apple in RVD’s face months ago, and taught him some respect. He said RVD cost Carlito the Rumble, and attacked him last week. Carlito said he belongs in the main event of WrestleMania, and he has a chance to get there and beat Rob Van Dam in the process. That’s cool.


Road To WrestleMania Tournament
Carlito vs. Rob Van Dam
Referee: Chad Patton

The music of Carlito hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for this final first round match in the Road to WrestleMania Tournament against Rob Van Dam!

The start:

RVD chased Carlito and nailed him with a clothesline on the outside. RVD hit some forearm shots and then sent Carlito into the apron before tossing him into the ring. Carlito came back with some shots to the back but RVD rallied with forearm shots. RVD knocked Carlito down and then sent him to the outside and sent him into the barricade. RVD hit the leg drop off the apron onto Carlito who was on the barricade as we go to commercial!

Mid-match notes:

Back on RAW and Carlito is in control of RVD with a rear naked choke. During the break, RVD dived off the top towards Carlito on the outside, but nailed the barricade face first. Back live and RVD fought back but Carlito nailed a dropkick for two. Carlito stomped away at Van Dam and then choked him over the bottom rope. Carlito hit a back elbow knockdown and covered for a two count before going back to the rear naked choke. RVD fought back with a dropkick to the knee and then a leg drop before nailing rolling thunder into a splash. RVD then hit the regular Rolling Thunder and covered for a near fall. RVD slammed Carlito down and then hit the split legged moonsault but Carlito got his knees up and rolled RVD up and grabbed the tights for two.

The Finish:

RVD rolled Carlito up with a body scissors for two and then Carlito tripped RVD from the outside and hit a double springboard into a somersault senton for two! Carlito went for a German but RVD blocked and hit some elbows, but then Carlito hit a back cracker for two! Carlito rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair and went to nail RVD but the referee grabbed the chair and RVD kicked it back into Carlito’s face with the Van Daminator before hitting the Five Star Frog Splash for the win!

Winner: Rob Van Dam


Next Week:
RAW will air on the USA Network on Thursday night on USA. It airs as usual in Canada and the United Kingdom, live on Monday.

Backstage:
Edge and Lita are shown making their way towards the arena, and they face John Cena and Maria, next!


Mixed Tag Team Match
Edge and Lita vs. John Cena and Maria
Referee: Michael Chioda

The music of Edge hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Lita, and they will be facing WWE Champion John Cena and Maria here tonight, with the winner to name the special guest referee for next week’s WWE Championship Match as John Cena defends against Edge!

The start:

Edge went to attack Cena but Cena nailed him with a series of right hands and then sent him hard to the buckle before hitting a Fisherman’s Suplex for two. Edge came back sending Cena hard into the ring post, shoulder first. Edge grabbed Maria and made her tag Cena and then he hit a DDT on Cena. Edge threw Cena to the outside and followed out, sending him into the ring steps. Edge tagged in Lita and then held the ropes open for Maria to get in the ring. Lita tossed Maria into the ring by her hair and tossed her around. Lita slapped Maria on the behind and then choked her over the bottom rope and Edge got in her face. Lita gave Maria a knee to the mid section and then took her down with a Russian leg sweep.

The Finish:

Lita set up for a spear but Maria moved and tagged Cena! Cena hit a series of clotheslines and then a flying shoulder. Cena hit the side slam and then went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Lita distracted Cena and then Edge grabbed him from behind and Lita went for a huricanrana from the top but Cena moved and Lita nailed it on Edge! Cena is left in the ring with Lita and she took off her top and flashed her bra at Cena. Edge came from behind and went for a spear but Cena moved and Edge nailed Lita! Cena tossed Edge to the outside and Maria tagged herself in and covered Lita for the win!

Winners: John Cena and Maria

The Aftermath:
Cena and Maria celebrated, and Cena gets to choose the special referee for next week! Cena got on the mic and says he found somebody, they are in town and he saw them in the back and he already asked and they accepted. He said he isn’t going to make anyone wait and he’ll let us know right now! He said this is the perfect person just in case next week Edge is feeling a little Hardcore! Mick Foley’s music then hit and he made his way down to the ring! Edge looked pissed off as Foley got in the ring with Cena and Maria, and next week, Cena defends his Championship against Edge with Foley as the guest referee!

Thanks for posting thease i thought that raw was not that bad this week and it was good to see Mick Foley retturn to the wwe and agree to referee the title match between Edge/cena next week.

Yea kinda saw the HHH thing coming but here is a thought.

Is the Heartbreak Kid returning ? At least the backstage politics one did he refuse to job and get pulled out of the Big Show match or was it really just storyline.

my main thought on this whole sitaution wolf is that it's a basic work with what they would have done with brett if he ever did decide to come back and they just stuck Michaels in Hart's position. all be it that this situation is hard for Michaels this storyline means alot to the business and like what the wwe did with McMahon vs. Hogan at wm 19 there doing it with Michaels.
