WWE Live Event Results From Trenton (1/23): Jericho Vs. Cesaro, Street Fight, Lana, M

Thanks to Patrick Bailey for the following WWE live event results from Friday night's show in Trenton, New Jersey:

* Bad News Barrett cut a promo to open the show and then lost to Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. Good match and promo from Barrett. Ziggler was great as usual and got a big pop. Ziggler won with Zig Zag.

* Darren Young defeated Tyson Kidd. The crowd was dead and didn't care about either man.

* Chris Jericho defeated Cesaro in the match of the night. Jericho cut a promo before the match and got a pop from the Trenton crowd. Cesaro interrupted with a good promo, better than they let him do on TV and ripped on Jersey. Jericho won with a Codebreaker.

* Erick Rowan defeated Luke Harper, who got a good pop.

* Ryback defeated Kane in a boring match. The crowd was almost as bad as they were for Kidd vs. Young.

* Roman Reigns defeated Rusev by DQ with the United States Title on the line. Lana was allowed to be in Rusev's corner only because of fan voting. Lana's heel promo and Reigns' pop after coming through the crowd were highlights here. The match wasn't much to write him about but Rusev used the belt on Reigns for the DQ and took a spear for his troubles.

* Paige and Natalya defeated Alicia Fox and Cameron when Fox tapped out to the Sharpshooter. Nothing impressive here either.

* Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt in another match where it seemed the entrances were the highlight. The match felt predictable until Ambrose countered Sister Abigail with a roll up for the win.

* John Cena defeated Seth Rollins in a Street Fight. Rollins got the biggest heel reaction of the night and really showed why he's getting pushed to the main event. They used chairs and a table for the finish. Cena hit a super AA for the win.
