Update On Rumors Of WrestleMania At U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Vikings released a statement this week to clarify comments made by team official Lester Bagley, who claimed that WrestleMania will be coming to the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The statement reads as follows:

"Lester meant to say we are hopeful the new stadium will host a future College Football Playoff Championship and WrestleMania. Unfortunately the mistake was not caught during the editing process. To be clear, Minnesota has not been awarded a future WrestleMania. Minneapolis has submitted a bid and hopes to hear something from WWE by the end of the year. Obviously all U.S. Bank Stadium partners would love to bring the excitement and economic impact of WrestleMania to this market."
