A man dressed in a cloak in 90 degree temperatures was spotted in Gastonia, South Carolina last week, reportedly depositing raw meat onto a playground.

Photos were captured of this incident in the Hudson Woods apartment complex, depicting a pale hooded man holding what could be a raw steak.

Investigations into the incident revealed that the apartment complex property manager speculates that it was likely just another student portraying a television character for a school project.

The alleged student and the mother’s name have not yet been released.

Still, residents are disturbed by the presence of someone depicting odd behavior in a nearby children’s play area close to the apartment complex.
