Rafael dos Anjos’ Coach: “McGregor Will Ask For The Fight To Be Stopped”

Rafael Cordeiro, the head MMA coach for Rafael dos Anjos, is not intimidated by Conor McGregor. In fact, he told Combate that his pupil Dos Anjos will make McGregor quit in the middle of their Lightweight Championship fight.

“The way I see it, Rafael will do just fine. He’s very excited about this fight and will drag McGregor to deep waters,” Cordeiro said. “He has never faced anybody like Rafael. We believe he can beat Conor up badly. It may even be the first time Conor will ask for the fight to be stopped.”

Rafael dos Anjos will face Conor McGregor at UFC 196 on March 5 in Las Vegas. Holly Holm will face Miesha Tate in the co-main event.
