According to a release sent out by Spike on Wednesday, the recent Bellator 161 event generated 758,000 viewers and peaked at 966,000.
The card aired live this past Friday night with heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Tony Johnson in the main event.
The release stated that only two college football games ranked ahead of Bellator 161 in terms of live sports on cable for that day.
