Update on GFW – ITV’s World Of Sport Wrestling Revival in The United Kingdom

It was reported earlier this year that Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling would be teaming up with the United Kingdom’s ITV to do a relaunch of the once very popular World of Sport Wrestling.

The project has not progressed much since it was initially announced due to several production issues. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that ITV is still hoping to get the show started by the end of this year. Several wrestlers who are under contract are trying to get out of their deals in order to find work elsewhere if the project doesn’t start moving soon.
