Big Match Announced For This Week’s WWE SmackDown Live

WWE has announced a big match for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

The sports entertainment company made it official on Monday afternoon that WWE Champion will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match on the show.

This match marks Nakamura’s first bout since being bitten in the leg by a police dog two weeks ago before a live event. Styles and Nakamura have wrestled each other quite a bit over the past few months. They have worked together at Money in the Bank, the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia, and WrestleMania 34.

Styles is defending his WWE Championship against Rusev while Nakamura is challenging Jeff Hardy for the United States Title at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.
