Cody Announces First NWA Booking For Next Weekend
Cody will be appearing for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood next weekend. The promotion is where many of the NWA’s most recent angles have played out. The current NWA World Heavyweight Champion is referring to the show as his first “NWA booking.”

Also yesterday, it was confirmed Cody will defend his title against Nick Aldis next month. Aldis defeated Doug Williams yesterday to earn his rematch against Cody.
Cody vs Nick Aldis II will take place on October 21st at the NWA’s 70th Anniversary show. Before then, however, Cody has said he’ll be bringing the belt with him to Ring of Honor. The promotion holds Death Before Dishonor on September 28th. They will remain in Las Vegas the next night for a TV taping.
NWA Owner Billy Corgan took control of the promotion last October. Since then, they’ve been furthering their storylines through NWA’s social media platforms and episodes of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
