Latest On Samoa Joe’s Status Heading Into WWE Hell In A Cell

For those who were concerned about Samoa Joe’s status heading into the Hell in a Cell event, fear not, he appears to be ready to go.

Last weekend, it was revealed that he missed WWE live events in Lubbock, TX and in Beaumont, TX. This led to WWE making the decision to have The Miz replace him in the headlining matches against WWE Champion AJ Styles at those shows. There was some concern at the time because he noted n a tweet at the time that he planned on working the whole Texas tour. He didn’t wrestle on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live but rather did a promo segment.

The former NXT Champion did make his return to in-ring competition on Saturday at a live event in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center. At this show, he lost to Styles in the main event.

Joe is slated to challenge Styles for the WWE Title at tonight’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center on the WWE Network.
