Baron Corbin Responds To Khabib Nurmagomedov, Injured WWE Star Eyes Match Against Rey Mysterio

– Acting WWE RAW General Manager Baron Corbin responded to UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov claiming on his official Twitter account that WWE wants to sign him. He also took a shot at the WWE by using the hashtag #FakeFights. As result, Corbin responded with the following:

– Injured WWE Star Eyes Match Against Rey Mysterio

Although Sami Zayn is still on the sidelines, he is already eyeing a match with the returning Rey Mysterio inside of a WWE ring. Zayn has been out of action after undergoing surgery on both rotator cuffs and isn’t expected back until early 2019. The original belief was that he should be back in time for WrestleMania 35 next year.

Zayn was last seen when he suffered a loss to Bobby Lashley at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on the WWE Network. MITB was the last date with the company for Zayn before he took time off.

Mysterio is slated to make his return to the WWE by taking on WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title WWE World Cup qualifier at SmackDown 1000 week. Zayn tweeted out the following:
