Seth Rollins Explains Why He Wants To Wrestle Kenny Omega

WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins is undoubtedly one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet right now. However, across the pond, there’s another man who rivals him in that department. That man is current IWGP heavyweight champion Kenny Omega. “The Cleaner” has been the face of New Japan Pro Wrestling for quite some time.

With his contract coming up soon, however, Omega could possibly hit the free agency market. That would make him ripe for the plucking for WWE. WWE will be able to offer Omega a contract that likely no other promotion can match. Especially with the money they’ve made from their recent broadcast deals and shows in Saudi Arabia. The professional wrestling juggernaut is expected to make big moves once several top stars’ contracts expire in January of 2019.

Rollins hopes that this is the case. Appearing at the ACE Comic Con in Chicago, Illinois earlier today (Fri. October 12, 2018), Rollins answered some questions from fans. One fan asked “The Architect” who he’d like to share the ring with that isn’t signed to WWE right now. Unsurprisingly, Rollins named Omega:

“I would like to face Kenny Omega,” said Rollins with playful authority. “I am the best wrestler in the world, and would like to prove that.”
