Kushida done with NJPW -- going to WWE?
Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight and ROH TV Champion KUSHIDA officially ended his run with New Japan Pro Wrestling today, wrestling IWGP Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in his final appearance for the company.
KUSHIDA wrestled a really good non-title bout against Tanasahi, losing in about 25 minutes before having an emotional sendoff. He gave a farewell speech noting that he would never forget this night and thanked the fans for their support.
KUSHIDA is expected to sign with WWE, but there has been no official announcement as of yet. Jushin Liger, on commentary, made reference to going to wrestle for WWE while Tama Tonga tweeted that he would see KUSHIDA "soon in Florida."
