Cain Velasquez Gets Match Booked For AAA Invading NY Event

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez has a match booked for the upcoming AAA Invading NY event.
The promotion announced several big matches for this show including Velasquez’s opponents for his United States wrestling debut.
He’ll be working a six-man tag team match where he’ll team up with Brian Cage and Psycho Clown against Texano Jr., Taurus, and Scorpion King.
Dorian Roldán, Director General of Lucha Libre AAA, stated, “We are thrilled to bring the most popular Lucha Libre legends to fans in the Hulu Theater at MSG. Every seat is so close to the action in the ring that fans are sure to personally experience the excitement and energy of AAA at its best.”
Other matches include a Reina de Reinas AAA Championship match and the Lucha Bros defending the AAA World Tag Team Championship after defending them at AEW All Out.
The show is taking place on Sunday, September 15 at New York City’s Hulu Theatre. Here’s the full card:
