Byers was a legitimate tough lady. She stacked up to Mildred Burke. Here is she is in a really good match.

Just some background on Torres, he and his brothers Alberto & Ramon would headline in Georgia. Also when Thesz would come into LA to defend his NWA title Torres would be his challenger.

The Kangaroos were Al Costello/Roy Heffernan. Probably one of the most famous teams of all time.

Here is Red Bastien when he was very young. A true technician.

Starr did a ballet dancer gimmick and was over huge in the 1950s. Wait to you see how high he gets doing his dropkicks.

Just an FYI Starr was a well reputed shooter. Even though he pranced around the ring he could still hurt you if he wanted to.
