With the three year anniversary of LU's demise approaching, I decided to pay tribute to my all-time favorite promotion and find out where exactly did its performers end up. Let's begin !
- Vibora is performing in AEW as a member of the super-popular Jurassic Express stable, under his Lucha Underground nickname, Luchasaurus.
- Tommy Dreamer has been involved in a lot of controversy lately, due to his insensitive comments on Dark Side of the Ring. Prior to the controversy, he was working as a member of Impact's booking crew.
- The White Rabbit is performing in WWE as Karrion Kross, working as a midcard talent after a dominant run in their developmental territory NXT.
- Jeremiah Snake / Crane is performing in Impact under his most well-known name, Sami Callihan, as one of the company's top guys over the last three years.
- Son of Havoc is performing in MLW as Matt Cross, having recently returned to the business.
- The Lord is performing in WWE as Wade Barrett, working as a commentator in its developmental territory NXT.
- Sammy Guevara is performing in AEW under the exact same name, currently enjoying a run as the TNT Champion and as a popular upper-midcard babyface performer.
- XO Lishus is performing in AEW as Sonny Kiss, as a lower-midcard / occasional midcard fun babyface.
- Konnan has popped up in AEW and MLW multiple times over the last few years, commonly managing whatever incarnation of LAX is available.
- Matanza is performing in NJPW as Jeff Cobb, as a dominant member of the United Empire stable. He has also made an appearance for AEW, wrestling their top babyface, Jon Moxley.
- Daivari has recently made appearances for both Impact and MLW, as a member of the company's top heel faction, CONTRA.
- Pentagon Jr. / Dark is performing in AEW as Penta El Zero Miedo, as the World Tag Champion with his brother..
- Fenix, the other half of the super-popular Lucha Brothers team. The brothers have also dominated Mexico and Impact upon their departure from LU.
- Brian Cage is performing in AEW under the same name, as an upper-midcard powerhouse babyface.
- Kobra Moon is performing in AEW as Thunder Rosa, as arguably the most popular woman in the promotion not named Britt Baker.
- Joey Ryan is thankfully not performing anywhere anymore. Fuck you Joey Ryan.
- Dez X is performing in WWE as Wes Lee, where he is the NXT Tag Team Champion with his long-time partner Nash Carter. Despite being the top team, MSK are not popular with the fans.
- Chavo Guerrero Jr. is performing in AEW under his real name, more recently managing Andrade El Idolo.
- Dario Cueto is performing in MLW as Cezar Duran, the authority figure of the promotion. LAAAAAAAAADERRRRR MAAAATCH !!!!!!!!!!
- Killshot is performing in WWE as Isaiah Swerve Scott, a leader of the Hit Row faction. Congratulations on the main roster call-up boys.
- The Mack is performing in Impact under his more known name of Willie Mack, in a fun tag team with Rich Swann.
- Big Ryck retired from the business shortly after his tenure with LU ended, now working as a personal trainer.
- Pimpinela Escarlata is performing in AAA, returning to his Exotico role within the promotion.
- Ricky Mandel / Mundo is working the California indies.
- Paul London has seemingly not wrestled since his time in LU ended, however he has done work for Impact as a producer.
- Bengala is working the indies, more recently having worked GCW.
- Vampiro is seemingly away from the business, dealing with severe health issues in recent years.
- Matt Striker is performing as a commentator for both Impact and AAA.
- Hernandez is performing in Impact under the exact same name, as a midcard veteran.
- Shaul Guerrero recently appeared as a ring announcer for AEW during their Women's Tag Tournament.
- Rey Mysterio Jr. is performing in WWE with his shortened name, teaming with his son Dominik.
- Drago is performing in AAA as a midcard babyface.
- Doku is signed to WWE as an ambassador under her Kairi Sane name.
- Alberto El Patron has been involved in numerous scandalous activities over the last five years. Recently, he teased a return to WWE, which we all hope does not happen.
- Taya is performing in WWE as Franky Monet, as an upper midcard heel in NXT.
- Yurei is back in Stardom under her real name.
- Mascarita Sagrada is working the indies, most notably in the Cali area.
- Hitokiri is performing in WWE as Io Shirai, as one of the more decorated wrestlers in NXT's women's division.
- Prince Puma is performing in WWE as Ricochet, as a midcard babyface that is occasionally spotlighted.
- Son of Madness is once again performing under his Johnny Goodtime name, working Cali indies.
- Super Fly is back in AAA, working underneath.
- Jack Evans is performing in AEW under this exact same name, as a member of Matt Hardy's HFO faction.
- Dr. Wagner Jr. is doing some occasional indy touring after leaving AAA last year.
- Angelico is performing in AEW with his long-time partner Jack Evans.
- Daga is seemingly not working anywhere right now, par for the course considering who he is married to.
- Marty The Moth has recently worked enhancement matches for AEW under his real name, Martin Casaus.
- Mr. Pectacular is performing in OVW as Jessie Godderz, as an upper midcard performer.
- PJ Black is performing in Ring Of Honor while also doing indies.
- Cortez Castro is back to performing under his Ricky Reyes name, more notably for Indiana indies.
- Bael is performing on the indy circuit under his more famous B-Boy name, his last appearance being in Bar Wrestling last year.
- Texano recently departed AAA after being in the promotion for almost a decade.
- Jake Strong is performing in AEW as Jake Hager, Chris Jericho's right hand man in the Inner Circle stable.
- Johnny Mundo is performing in WWE as John Morrison, having recently turned babyface.
- Sexy Star is performing in AAA, working mainly tag matches.
- Joey Wrestling ( or Mercury as he is more known for ) has seemingly left the business.
