He started wrestling in the late 50s in Quebec under a mask, called The Masked Marvel. When he wrestled in Columbus OH he used the name Dominic Bravo teaming with Dino Bravo. He wrestled all over the world and had matches with Ray Stevens, Killer Kowalski, Edouard Carpentier, Billy Red Lyons, The original Sheik, Hulk Hogan.
