Lince Dorado and Mascara Dorada join Ian and Alex. Lince says it has been a year. They say they are excited for their debut as a team in New Japan. Alex translates things wrong for Ian to understand and Lince reminds Alex that he speaks English.


Lince Dorado and Mascara Dorada versus Cody Chhun and Guillermo Rosas

Dorada and Rosas start things off and Rosas with a side head lock. Dorada with a springboard arm drag. Rosas with a leg sweep and cover. Dorada with a leg sweep and cover. Both men go for drop kicks at the same time and get back to their feet for a stalemate. Cody and Lince tag in. Cody with a shoulder tackle and a near fall. Cody with a side head lock take down and Lince with a head scissors. Lince with a spinning back heel kick that misses. Cody backs into the corner. They lock up and Cody with a kick on the break. Cody with a hammer lock and Lince goes for the leg but decides to go with a flying mare. Lince with uppercuts but Cody with an Irish whip and Lince floats over. Lince with a head scissors and drop kick to Cody and Lince gets a near fall.

Dorada tags in and Lince with a chop. They Irish whip Cody and Lince with a back senton into the corner. Lince with a waist lock while Dorada hits a springboard drop kick that turns into a German suplex from Lince. Dorada gets a near fall. Dorada with a chop in the corner. Dorada with an Irish whip and he is sent to the apron. Dorada with a kick and he goes for a springboard move but Cody distracts the referee and Rosas pulls Dorada off the apron and connects with a forearm. Rosas tags in and Cody with a slam and then Cody slams Rosas onto Dorada. Rosa with a fist drop and Cody with a splash. Rosas gets a near fall. Rosas with a chop and forearm followed by a clothesline in the corner.

Rosas sends Dorada into the corner and Cody tags in. Cody kicks Dorada. Rosas tags back in and he hits a suplex for a near fall. Rosas with an Irish whip and elbow into the corner. Cody tags in and they hit a double belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Rosas and Cody kick Dorada while the referee sends Lince to his corner. Cody with an Irish whip and Rosas tags in and hits a clothesline in the corner. Cody with a splash. Rosas with a kick and they hit a drop kick and suplex combination for a near fall. Rosas works on the arm and connects with a forearm. Rosas with a chop and he puts Dorada on the turnbuckles. Rosas with forearms but Dorada stops Rosas and hits a bulldog off the ropes. Cody and Lince tag in and Lince with a spinning heel kick to Cody and a chop to Rosas. Lince with a back body drop to Rosas and a brainbuster to Cody for a near fall.

Lince goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Lince with a cross arm breaker but Rosas with a back senton to break up the hold. Rosas rolls Cody to their corner to make the tag. Rosas with a knee and Cody with a jumping knee. Rosas with a thrust kick and an assisted sit out power bomb for a near fall. Lince with a handspring double cutter and then Dorada hits a senton onto Rosas on the floor. Lince sends Cody to the apron and connects with a clothesline. Lince goes up top and hits a head scissors to Cody that sends him into Rosas. Cody and Rosas are sent into the ring and Dorada with a springboard elbow drop while Lince hits a shooting star press for the three count.

Kevin Blackwood versus Bobby Fish

Fish goes to the floor after the bell rings to get the crowd to react to him. He returns to the ring and they lock up and Fish with a front face lock. Kevin gets a cover for a near fall. Fish with a kick to the leg and another kick. Kevin with a kick but Fish puts Kevin on the ropes and they go to a break. Kevin with a side head lock and Fish with a front face lock and gator roll. Kevin with a chop in the corner. Fish with a forearm and Kevin with a chop. Fish with a forearm and Kevin fires back. Kevin with kicks to the leg and Fish with a take down and cover. Fish gets to the ropes and Kevin gives a clean break and Fish goes to the floor.

They lock up and Fish backs Kevin into the corner and connects with forearms and a back heel kick. Fish with an irish whip and elbow into the corner. Fish with a knee in the corner followed by a forearm. Kevin with an Irish whip and Fish sends Kevin to the apron. Fish with a punch to the midsection and he misses a kick from the floor. Kevin with a double stomp off the apron to the back. Kevin chops Fish against the guardrails and kicks him in the back of the leg and then in the chest against the apron.

They return to the ring and Kevin misses a move off the turnbuckles when Fish moves. Kevin with a sleeper. Fish backs Kevin into the turnbuckles to force a break. Fish with a back heel kick. Fish with knees and a snap mare and a double jump slingshot senton. Fish gets a near fall. Fish with a punch to the midsection and a belly-to-back suplex. Fish with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Fish with a forearm and Kevin responds with one of his own. Fish with a forearm and knee. Fish runs Kevin into the turnbuckles followed by a dragon screw leg whip.

Fish with a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Kevin with punches but Fish with a forearm and kick to the leg. Kevin with forearms and Fish with a forearm. Kevin with a suplex. Kevin with a kick to the leg and an Irish whip followed by a forearm. Kevin with an Irish whip bu the runs into an elbo. Kevin with an exploder for a near fall. Fish with a punch but Kevin with kicks. Fish kicks Kevin in the chest and Kevin does the same to Fish. Fish with punches and forearms. Kevin and Fish exchange kicks. Kevin with an arm wringer. Fish with a dragon screw leg whip. Fish with forearms and punches followed by a kick to the leg. Kevin with a Northern Lights suplex and then he applies an Fujiwara arm bar but Fish gets his foot on the ropes. Kevin with a foerarm and they go back and forth. Fish misses an elbow and Kevin kicks the arm. Kevin goes up top and Fish kicks Kevin in the leg to stop him. Fish goes up top and hits a Super Falcon Arrow for the three count.

Winner: Bobby Fish

After the match, Homicide attacks Fish from behind and connects with forearms. Fish with punches while Homicide continues his attack. Fish with a kick to the leg and a knee to the head. Fish with forearms while Homicide holds Fish’s leg. Fish with forearms and security tries to stop them.

David Finlay comes out to help Homicide and Fish leaves the ring and heads to the back.

Finlay squares off with Homicide but he offers his hand and Homicide shakes it.

We take a look back at how Fred Rosser got to face JR Kratos tonight.


Fred Rosser versus JR Kratos for the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship

They start off with shoulder tackles and go to stalemate many times. Rosser with a shoulder tackle that does not move Kratos. They continue with shoulders and they stay on their feet. Fred with a kick and snap mare followed by a seated splash. Fred with clotheslines to the chest and back followed by a knee to the midsection. Fred with a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall. Fred with an arm bar. Rosser gets a near fall. Kratos with a Fujiwara arm bar but Fred escapes. Fred with chops and clotheslines in the corner.

Fred gets Kratos to the mat and Fred with hips in the corner. Fred with a running hip strike in the corner and he connects with a second one. Fred with a thrust kick and he goes to the apron and brings Kratos over the top rope to the apron. Fred with chops and he sets for a back drop driver onto the apron but Kratos with elbows and Kratos with a forearm to the back. Kratos sets for a power bomb into the guardrail but Rosser holds on tot he ropes. Kratos with a forearm and he tries again. Rosser with a seated splash to Kratos on the apron. Rosser goes for a cross body off the apron but Kratos catches Fred and runs him into the ring post. Kratos with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Kratos pulls up the mats on the floor to expose the floor. Kratos pulls part of the guardrails off but Rosser kicks Kratos before JR can use it. Rosser with forearms to the back but Kratos slaps Rosser. Kratos with a forearm.

Kratos throws down a ring crew member who was trying to put the mats back. Kratos chops Rosser in the corner. Kratos with a suplex. Kratos stomps on the chest and then he slaps Rosser. Rosser with punches but Kratos punches back and connects with a forearm. Kratos puts Rosser on the turnbuckles and Rosser sends Kratos into the turnbuckles. They exchange forearms on the apron. Kratos clotheslines Rosser back into the ring. Rosser with a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes and he knocks Kratos to the floor. Rosser with a neck breaker on the apron.

Kratos with a reverse chin lock on the apron and Rosser escapes and hits a tombstone on the floor. Rosser keeps the referee from counting out Kratos. Kratos gets back in the ring and he punches Kratos. Kratos with a kick to the leg and an STO. Rosser with kicks and Kratos with a punch. Kratos with an Irsih whip and Rosser with a boot and he goes to the turnbuckles. Kratos with an enzuigiri. Kratos with a superplex and clothesline that sends Rosser to the floor. Kratos with a dive onto Rosser and members of the ring crew.

Kratos sends Rosser back into the ring and hits a clothesline followed by a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Kratos gets Rosser on his shoulders but Rosser gets to his feet and he clips Kratos. Rosser goes for an STF but Kratos blocks it. Rosser with a rear naked choke and Kratos passes out.

Winner: Fred Rosser (retains championship)

After the match, Peter Avalon gets on the apron and tells Fred that was a hell of a match. He says he knows how things work here. Peter says he wants the next shot at Fred’s title.

Fred tells Peter he’s got it.

Peter hits Fred from behind and connects with forearms and punches. Peter chokes Fred in the ropes and kicks him. Avalon holds up the belt and then he continues with punches. Some of the dojo students come in the ring and then the Stray Dog Army does the same.
