The main event had Sanada take on David Finlay in the finals of the New Japan Cup. The winner of the match will face Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Another match on the card had Hiromu Takahashi defend the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Lio Rush.
