Good match. Both men are familiar with each other since they battled for the IWGP Tag Team Titles.
YOSHI-HASHI pins Tanga Loa with a Crucifix Bomb.
2 - Ren Narita vs. Gabe Kidd
Kidd tried to attack Narita with a chair during the ring entrance. Narita was ready. Match stayed mostly inside the ring.
Kidd hits a low blow and a piledriver.
Kidd pins Narita.
3 - El Phantasmo vs. Great O-Khan
ELP was selling his neck that he tweaked during his first match in the tournament. O-Khan hit a Tenzan Tombstone on the floor. He followed with a Dominator/Backbreaker and the Sheep Killer.
ELP taps out.
4 - Hikuleo, with Jado vs. Chase Owens
Owens takes off his knee brace when the referee was distracted and hit Hikuleo in the head. Owens follows with a C-Trigger.
Owens pins Hikuleo
5 - Will Ospreay vs. KENTA
KENTA attacked at the bell. KENTA was relentless and moved with speed. Ospreay was the babyface fighting from behind.
Ospreay hits a Hidden Blade and a Storm Breaker.
Ospreay pins KENTA.
6 - Shota Umino vs. Kaito Kiyomiya
Both fight to a draw.
Umino was selling his leg after the match.
Good match. Very competitive between both men.
7 - Kazuchika Okada vs. Taichi
Another good match. Taichi was throwing stiff kicks to Okada's head. Okada kept fighting back. Taichi hit two Dangerous Drivers, but Okada kicked out. Okada kicked out of the Gedo Clutch. Okada avoided the Last Ride and Black Mephisto.
Okada pinned Taichi with a quick cradle roll up.
Taichi looked upset after the match.
8 - SANADA vs. Yota Tsuji
Much better match than their first encounter. SANADA traps Tsuji in Skull End. Tsuji reverses out. SANADA goes for Dead Fall, but Tsuji reverses out! First man to do so! Tsuji hits a high knee, superkick and headbutt. Tsuji with a Curb Stomp. Two count. SANADA with a Cutter and moonsault. Two count. SANADA hits the Dead Fall.
SANADA pins Tsuji.
