Kiyomiya pins Oskar after a Shining Wizard
2 - Shota Umino, Tomoaki Honma, Master Wato and Yuji Nagata vs. Ren Narita, Yuto Nakashima, El Desperado and Minoru Suzuki
Umino pins Nakashima after a Death Rider.
Umino and Narita continue to fight after the match. The other wrestlers break them up and separate them.
3 - Tiger Mask, Togi Makabe, Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, YOH, Tomohiro Ishii and Eddie Kingston
YOH pins Tiger Mask after a Super Kick
4 - Kosei Fujita, Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Boltin Oleg, YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto and Ryusuke Taguchi
Oleg won a non-televised 4-way match between young lions. He earned a shot at Zack Sabre Jr.’s NJPW World Television Title.
Haste and Nicholls hit a Tank Buster on Goto.
Nicholls pins Goto.
Haste and Nicholls taunt Bishomon and are in line for a Tag Title match.
5 - El Phantasmo, Hikuleo, Tanga Loa, Tama Tonga and Jado vs. Gabe Kidd, Alex Coughlin, Chase Owens, KENTA and David Finlay, with Gedo
Owens attempted a cradle pin on Tanga, but he reversed it and pinned Owens.
Tama had words with Finlay and they may fight again for the NEVER Openweight Title. Hikuleo and ELP challenges Kidd and Coughlin for the New Japan Strong Tag Team Titles.
6 - Yota Tsuji, BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi and Shingo Takagi vs. Great O-Khan, Jeff Cobb, HENARE and Will Ospreay
After losing to Naito last night, Will Ospreay declared that he was changing the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship to the IWGP U.K. Heavyweight Championship.
Tsuji hits two spears on Ospreay and pins the Aerial Assassin.
Damn! Big upset by Tsuji.
Tsuji quickly grabbed the belt and declared his challenge for the U.K. Title. Eddie Kingston came to the ring and attacked HENARE. They both brawled back to the locker room.
Ospreay and the rest of United Empire have been more babyfaces than heels over the past few months. Ospreay has been less heelish during the G1 and doing babyface promos.
7 - SHO, Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo and EVIL vs. DOUKI, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Taichi and SANADA, with TAKA Michinoku
Complete chaos. House of Torture cheated like crazy. Just Five Guys get laid out with weapons.
SHO hits Taichi with his wrench and follows with a Shock Arrow.
SHO pins Taichi.
House of Torture continue to beat down their opponents. SHO announces to everyone that he will take the KOPW Title Belt from Taichi. EVIL smashes SANADA in the head with the World Belt. They handcuff SANADA to the ropes. House of Torture forces the ring announcer to say SANADA is not a worthy champion and the belt should be given to EVIL. House of Torture steal the belts and return to the locker room.
The next big event is Destruction in Kobe on September 24. They are setting up title matches quickly on this night.

8 - Tetsuya Naito vs. Kazuchika Okada
Naito gets a massive pop from the Ryogoku crowd. Okada gets cheers but Naito is the favorite.
Okada went after Naito’s head with a DDT on the apron and a second in the ring. Naito fights back also going after Okada’s head and neck. Naito hit a Rude Awakening over the guardrail. Sick spot. Okada yelled out in pain.
Okada fights back and keeps attacking Naito’s neck. Naito spits at Okada and applies neck submissions.
They trade reversals.
Naito hits a Destino. Okada kicks out. Naito hits another Destino.
Naito pins Okada.
Winner: Tetsuya Naito wins G1 Climax 33 and earns a title shot at Wrestle Kingdom.
Really good match. Not many high spots but it was a good pro wrestling match. Check this match out on New Japan World.
Los Ingobernales de Japon come to ringside.
They present Naito with the G1 Trophy. Masahiro Chono presents Naito with the G1 Flag which has a ribbon with the name of every G1 winner. Naito gives Chono the LIJ fist bump. As Chono leaves the ring, Naito tosses Flag to the mat. Hilarious.
He thanks the fans for coming to the shows and watching on the internet. He does the LIJ Roll Call with the audience screaming every word.
