IMPACTxNJPW Multiverse United 2: Two Matches Added, Updated Card
The card for IMPACTxNJPW: Multiverse United 2 is continuing to come together with more matches announced ahead of this weekend's event.
IMPACTxNJPW: Multiverse United 2 will take place this weekend, August 20, 2023, from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The venue is known among fans for being the home of several classic ECW events. Despite the name, IMPACTxNJPW: Multiverse United 2 will be the third event under the Multiverse chronology.
On Twitter, IMPACT Wrestling announced two more matches for the Countdown show ahead of Multiverse United 2. The first will see IMPACT Digital Media Champion Kenny King defend his gold against Yoshinobu Kanemaru. The second will see six-man tag-team action, as Joe Hendry, Heath, and Yuya Uemura will face Master Wato, Rocky Romero, and Ryusuke Taguchi.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the NJPW Strong Women's Championship will be on the line at Multiverse United 2 in triple-threat action.
