Former ECW champion Sabu to be inducted into Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame next weekend
Game Changer Wrestling announced today that former ECW World Champion Sabu will be inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday afternoon 4/7 at Wrestlecon.
Beynd deserving just for his work putting ECW on the map as their first major attraction beyond established veterans, Sabu was also extremely (and insanely) groundbreaking in the mid-1990s for his revolutionary moves and matches on the independent scene on the Michigan independent scene as well as in the Northeast and internationally in places like FMW in Japan.
There is zero argument against Sabu being given this honor.
