MLW 24th Anniversary Show Set For June 22

Major League Wrestling fans are in for a treat as the company is set to celebrate their 24th anniversary. The company started in June 2002 and has slowly become one of the more prominent wrestling promotions today. In honor of their impressive milestone, the company has shared they will host a special broadcast on June 22.
MLW made their special announcement on X to excite fans for what will come in two weeks. The upcoming live event will be a two-hour show with an exciting lineup of matches. It will also be available to everyone, as it will air on MLW's YouTube channel for free.
When speaking on what fans should expect, MLW boasted that it would be a spectacular night of wrestling and feature two championship matches on the card.
Along with announcing the start of the Opera Cup, MLW Anniversary' 24 will feature two championship bouts. One of the matches will have MLW World Middleweight Champion Mistico put his title on the line against Star Jr.
Mistico has been on a great run in MLW since defeating Rocky Romero for the title at MLW Intimidation Games on February 29. He has successfully defended his championship twice and is determined to keep it around his waist for a long time. However, Mistico can't take his opponent lightly as Star Jr. aims to pull off the upset win at the MLW milestone event.
Elsewhere on the card, Bad Dude Tito will defend the MLW National Openweight Championship against Jake Crist. The champion is still fresh in his title reign, winning it on May 11. He'll have a slight advantage in his matchup, as MLW announced that Salina de la Renta will be in his corner.
