Jinder Mahal Set For AAA Debut In A Tag-Team Title Match
Former WWE star Jinder Mahal (now known as Raj Dhesi) is set to make his AAA debut at Triplemania XXXII Mexico City.
The promotion announced that he will join forces with fellow Indian wrestler Satnam Singh and challenge for the AAA Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match against Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno del Mal and champions Psycho Clown & Negro Casas. They will be managed by Jeff Jarrett. The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Mexico City Arena in Azcapotzalco.
It has been announced that Mega Champion Nic Nemeth will put his title on the line against Alberto El Patron on the show. Meanwhile, Vampiro will also compete in a casket match at Triplemania Mexico City. It was said that it would be a cinematic match and mark Vampiro’s final match in Mexico City. Former WWE star Matt Riddle will also return to the promotion and face Laredo Kid.
The former WWE Champion was released from the company in April this year. His last match for WWE took place on the April 5 edition of SmackDown where he was part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Following his release, Raj Dhesi is all set to compete at Black Label Pro Wrestling in July. This will mark his first appearance following his release from WWE. He will be making an appearance for the promotion's upcoming Old Habits Die Screaming event on July 26. The show will be held at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL. However, an opponent is yet to be announced for him.
