Update On Roxanne Perez After WWE Royal Rumble Showcase
Roxanne Perez’s time in NXT appears to be winding down, with a main roster debut on the horizon. The 23-year-old standout delivered an impressive performance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, including breaking the record for the longest time in a Women’s Rumble match.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE has been considering Perez for a main roster spot since early January, with sources indicating it’s only a matter of time. Though a specific date for her move is not known, her role at the Rumble signals that her time in NXT is nearly over.
A WWE main roster source stated that Perez has been “ready for the main roster from a performance perspective for a long time.” Perez already has experience appearing on the main roster and is currently feuding with Bayley in WWE NXT.
With her immense talent, Perez has been labelled ‘The Prodigy,’ a moniker designed to show how big things are awaiting the former NXT Women’s Champion. Now, fans can expect those big things to come to fruition in the near future on the main roster.
