WWE reveals change to SmackDown card, US title match off
WWE has changed up its plans for tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
A United States Championship match with Shinsuke Nakamura defending against LA Knight was supposed to happen tonight, but WWE posted a video this afternoon with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis revealing that the match is off. There will instead be a mini-tournament to prove who is definitively deserving of a U.S. title shot.
The current first round matches are:
-LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar.
-Jacob Fatu vs. Andrade.
-Carmelo Hayes vs. Braun Strowman.
