Sheamus, Rusev, Bronson Reed and Jey Uso set for King of the Ring First Round Match
The King of the Ring Tournament continues on Monday night with another massive Fatal Four-Way Match. Sheamus, Rusev, Bronson Reed and Jey Uso will battle it out in the King of the Ring First Round. Sheamus has won the King of the Ring Tournament before, back in 2012. Who will advance?

– Gunther, Bayley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jey Uso are shown backstage.
– Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio make their way out to the ring.
Morgan welcomes fans to Monday Night Morgan, then demands that the live crowd make some noise for Dominik. Dominik says tonight is not about him, but rather about Morgan. Morgan says respect is the exact reason she's in the ring, then says everyone needs reminding that the "Raw" women's division is hers. She says Nikki Bella is watching Morgan at home on her screen after she attacked her last week, then recalls IYO SKY's run in with Nikki backstage. She says Nikki never paved the way because she did, then calls herself the greatest Women's Tag Team Champion of all time. Morgan then demands a rematch for the Women's World Championship.
SKY's music hits, and she makes her way out. She says all Morgan does is whine and show disrespect to both Nikki and her. She says she's right here, and Morgan says she wants to fight SKY as long as it's for her Women's World Championship. SKY tells Morgan she has to earn a title match if she wants it, but Dominik intervenes. Morgan continues to demand a shot at SKY's title, and says she can have it. She tosses her title over to Morgan and dropkicks her, then lands a roundhouse kick on the back of Dominik's neck.
– Raquel Rodriguez talks to Liv Morgan before her match and Morgan tells her to get it done tonight and then they can own the division.
– Stephanie Vaquer, Ivy Nile, Raquel Rodriguez, and Asuka then all make their way to the ring.
Queen of the Ring Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Ivy Nile vs. Asuka
The bell rings and Asuka runs over Nile with a shoulder tackle. Vaquer levels Rodriguez with a superkick, then stares down Asuka. Rodriguez sends Nile, Vaquer, and Asuka crashing into one another, then rains down elbows on Vaquer and lands Fallaway Slams on her and Nile.
Nile cinches in a Side Headlock on Vaquer, but Vaquer fires off knees on Nile's midsection and follows it up with a suplex to her. Vaquer lands a Sole Food on Rodriguez, then lands a Dragon Screw on Asuka. Vaquer delivers the Devil's Kiss to Nile, but Rodriguez lands a stomp on Vaquer. Vaquer then lands the Devil's Kiss on Rodriguez, but Asuka looks to cinch in a Sleeper on her. Nile breaks the hold, then fires off right hands on Asuka and delivers a kick to her. Asuka lands a Hip Attack on Rodriguez, but Nile catches Asuka with a German suplex.
Nile runs over Rodriguez with a kick to her head, then fires off shoulders on Asuka's midsection in the corner. Rodriguez gets Vaquer and Nile on her shoulders, but Asuka lands a dropkick on all three of them off the middle rope. Vaquer lands a knee on Asuka's midsection, then lands a suplex on Asuka. She sends Asuka crashing into the mat and pins her, but Nile breaks the fall and delivers a Sidewalk Slam to Asuka. She goes for a pin of her own, but Vaquer breaks the fall.
Rodriguez runs over Vaquer with a big boot, then lands a chokeslam and goes for a pin. Rhea Ripley pulls Rodriguez out of the ring to break the fall, then lands Rip Tide on Rodriguez. Asuka then lands a Hip Attack on Rodriguez for the win.
Winner: Asuka
– Cathy Kelley talks to Asuka after the match. Asuka says her fire didn't die, it's still alive and she says no one is ready for Asuka and she'll be the Queen of the Ring.
– Gunther is shown walking backstage - he's here live and we cut to commercial break.
– The Judgement Day is backstage and Liv Morgan comes in and tells Raquel Rodriguez they have business to attend to, Rodriguez says she just got her ass handed to her and Morgan leaves angrily. JD McDonagh tells Mysterio he has a match with AJ Styles and Mysterio says Finn Balor should stay back and he does. He and Roxanne Perez go to handle whatever Morgan said she would handle herself.
– GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring.
GUNTHER says at WWE WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso was the better man in their World Heavyweight Championship match but that was only the case for one night. He says he's heard the rumors and chatter about what's next for him, then says the reality is that Seth Rollins holds the Men's Money In The Bank briefcase. He says Rollins has made it clear that he's targeting the World Heavyweight Championship and by extension him, then says he's in the ring and calls him out.
Goldberg's music hits, and he makes his way out. He tells GUNTHER not to be confused and says tonight is GUNTHER's night. He says he's in the ring to celebrate GUNTHER being the World Heavyweight Champion, then says GUNTHER started something with him a few months back in Atlanta, Georgia. He says he will make sure he ends things in Atlanta, Georgia at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on July 12. He tells GUNTHER that he's next.
– JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio makes their way to the ring. AJ Styles follows.
AJ Styles vs. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio)
The bell rings and the two lock up. They take turns pinning one another and locking in submissions on one another, but McDonagh jams his boot into Styles in the corner. Styles cinches in the Calf Crusher on McDonagh, but McDonagh crawls over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Styles then chases Dominik around the ring, but McDonagh flies over the barricade near the timekeeper's area to take down Styles.
The two men return to the ring, and Styles jams his boot into McDonagh's face. McDonagh lands a leg drop on Styles, but Styles levels McDonagh with a clothesline and follows it up with a jumping forearm in the corner. He then lands a backbreaker on McDonagh and goes for a pin, but McDonagh kicks out.
McDonagh lands a Brainbuster on Styles and pins him, but Styles kicks out and teeters on the ropes with McDonagh. Styles fights off McDonagh and sends him crashing into the mat, then follows it up with a Styles Clash for the win.
Winner: AJ Styles
– After the match, Styles lands a Pele Kick on Dominik and sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Finn Balor comes to Dominik's aid. Styles then grabs the Intercontinental Championship and holds it up. Judgment Day then surrounds the ring, but Styles slides out before they can attack him and takes the Intercontinental Championship with him.
– Sheamus stretches backstage. Maxxine Dupri, Natalya and Akira Tozawa come up to him and tell him to take care of Rusev today. Sheamus says he will.
– Bayley is seen walking backstage. She walks by Austin Theory and Grayson Waller who are with The New Day. Bayley then makes her way out to the ring.
Bayley says it feels amazing to be back, then says every time she steps in the ring, she doesn't take that or the love from the fans for granted. She says she was born to wrestle, then says it's what's most important to her. She says she puts her heart and soul into the ring, but she was robbed of a WrestleMania match two months ago when Becky Lynch took her out with an attack.
Bayley says she doesn't put her body on the line day in and day out just for one moment or one night, then addresses Lynch and says Lynch would be wrong in thinking she broke her by attacking her just before WrestleMania since she only healed her and made her stronger. She says she's coming for Lynch and will take everything she took from her, then calls Lynch out to the ring.
Lynch's music hits, and she makes her way out. She says her and Bayley were never meant to be at the top of the business, then says she would prefer to have a legacy rather than fake friends. Bayley says she's built her legacy and is a future WWE Hall Of Famer, and she's therefore willing to bring the people with her. Lynch says the peple stoppped fighting for her so she stopped fighting for the people, then says the same applies to Bayley as evident in the lack of reaction for her taking out Bayley before WrestleMania.
Bayley says Lynch is insecure and so worried about what the fans think that she had to take her out. She says she had to take out Lyra Valkyria too because she couldn't handle not knowing if the fans would cheer or boo her. She asks Lynch if she remembers what it feels like to have to fight for opportunities like WrestleMania and titles, then eggs Lynch on looking for a shot at Lynch's Women's Intercontinental Championship. Lynch grants Bayley a title shot next week and looks to take a cheap shot at her, but Bayley clocks Lynch first. Lynch then slides out of the ring and retreats up the ramp.
– Cathy Kelley talks to Jey Uso about his King of the Ring match, Uso say he's ready and he'll get his belt back from Rusev.
– Nick Aldis talks to AJ Styles backstage and thanks him for returning Mysterio's IC Belt. He then tells Styles that he has a IC title match at Night of Champions. Bayley comes to Aldis who tells her she has a title match next week against Becky Lynch. Lyra Valkyria welcomes Bayley back and Bayley apologizes for ghosting Valkyria. Valkyria tells Bayley to not be sorry and she's doing what's best for her and if Bayley wins, Valkyria will do what's best for her.
– Kairi Sane makes her way down to the ring. Liv Morgan follows.
Liv Morgan vs. Kairi Sane
We get the bell and Sane and Morgan attack each other. Morgan immediately rolls out of the ring and grabs her shoulder. Sane waits in the ring as medical looks at Morgan and we cut to a commercial.
We come back from commercial and the match has been stopped, and Kairi Sane is declared the winner.

– Cathy Kelley talks to Sami Zayn backstage. Zayn talks about the opportunity to win the title and how this time it's different. Karrion Kross comes by and says nothing is different this time and calls him insane. Kross tells Zayn he's going to lose against Orton and Zayn will stay at zero. Zayn calls Kross a coward for talking in riddles and lurking in the shadows. Zayn says Kross can't walk his talk. Zayn says he's always out there regardless of whether he loses or not, and he challenges Kross to a bout and Kross says it's about time.
– We see Jey Uso among fans and he walks out for his match. Rusev, Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman then all make their way to the ring.
King of the Ring Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Match: Jey Uso vs. Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed w/Paul Heyman
The bell rings and Sheamus brawls with Reed as Rusev goes at it with Jey. Reed dumps Sheamus out of the ring, but Sheamus trips Reed on the apron and sends him crashing into the barricade. Reed returns the favor and sends Sheamus crashing into the barricade, and Jey low bridges Rusev out of the ring over the top rope.
Rusev and Reed exchange right hands with one another, but Rusev sends Reed crashing into the ring post. Jey then levels Rusev with a tope suicida and exchanges right hands with Sheamus in the ring, but Sheamus whips Jey into the corner. Reed lands a bodyslam on Rusev on the outside. Reed levels Jey with a headbutt back inside the ring, then fires off shoulders on his taped up midsection in the corner. Jey lands an open palm strike on Reed, but Sheamus lands The Ten Beats Of The Bodhran on Reed. Jey sends Reed crashing into the barricade and charges at him, but Rusev catches him with a standing splash.
Rusev stares down Sheamus inside the ring, then exchanges right hands with him. Reed delivers a slam to Jey and follows it up with an elbow drop, then lands two more elbow drops on Sheamus. Reed lands a suplex on Rusev and charges at Jey in the corner, but Jey sends him crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Sheamus flies off the top rope to level Reed with a clothesline, then sets up for The Ten Beats Of The Bodhran on Jey.
Jey escapes and rocks Sheamus with an enzuigiri, but Rusev cinches in The Accolade on Jey. Reed lands the Tsunami on Sheamus and goes for a pin, but Jey kicks out. Jey delivers a spear to Reed and ascends to the top rope, then sets up for an Uso Splash.
Bron Breakker pushes Jey off the top rope, but Sami Zayn appears out of nowhere and begins brawling with Breakker. Breakker tosses Zayn over the announce desk, and Reed lands a scoop powerslam on Jey. He sets up for the Tsunami, but LA Knight pushes Reed off the top rope. Jey catches Reed with a superkick and a pair of Uso Splashes for the win.
Winner: Jey Uso
– After the match, Seth Rollins storms out to the ring and takes off his tie and blazer and gets in the ring as Uso is laid on the mat. Cody Rhodes comes out to make sure Uso doesn't get jumped. Rhodes and Rollins stare at each other in the middle of the ring. Rollins leaves the ring and Uso is finally on his feet and both Uso and Rhodes watch Rollins, Reed, Breakker and Heyman leave. Uso and Rhodes lock eyes as they now face each other in the semi finals for the King of the Ring Tournament. They shake hands as the end credits roll.
