Penta Says Injury Tested His Body And Spirit, But He Will Be Back Very Soon
WWE Superstar PENTA took to social media on Tuesday to address the injury he sustained during Monday night’s episode of Raw, delivering an emotional message to fans and showing respect to his opponent.
In a powerful statement posted to X, PENTA thanked fans for their support while channeling his warrior spirit in the face of adversity.
“Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me,” PENTA wrote. “This injury tested my body and spirit, but it also awakened the strength that has always guided me. I am a Mexican warrior, forged in struggle, honor, and heart. And though the fall was hard, I rose with a fire stronger than ever.”
PENTA also extended respect to his opponent from Monday’s broadcast, a gesture of sportsmanship we don’t see too often on WWE programming.
“To my rival, my deepest respect. Thank you for your professionalism and for a clean, dignified battle. I recognize your dedication and honor.”
The lucha libre thanked fans for sticking with him, and teased that he’s got a lot more to do inside the squared circle.
“I will be back very soon, stronger, more prepared, and determined to finish what I left pending. Thank you for standing with me… because this war still has chapters to be written.”
As of this writing, WWE has not released an official statement regarding PENTA’s injury status or provided a timeline for his return to action. The company typically waits for full medical evaluations before making formal announcements about talent injuries.
PENTA made his WWE debut earlier this year alongside his brother Rey Fénix, bringing their legendary tag team to the company after their AEW contracts expired. The brothers have quickly become fan favorites on the Raw brand, showcasing the high-flying, hard-hitting style that made them stars around the world. The Lucha Bros. will reunite next month against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano in AAA.
