cm punk...even though i don't care for him, the pop he gets from the crowd is huge. alejandro armando estrada has been great too. reminds me of the great managers of the 80's (heenan, ellering, blassie, hart)
I say Kenny...he took a lame idea like the Spirit Squad and I think that because of his talent, they actually had to run with the idea of them not just being a joke...he stepped up as the leader...and he's like 22 years old or something!
Cm Punk would be the way to go. fans took to him and he has proved himself in the ring. his loss to test at the end of the year was a liitle upsetting but you cant have it all. kenny was okay but would he have fit if it wasnt for the spirt squad and actually dx returning i dont think so
How was the spirit squad in anyway not treated as a joke? They lost every single week, sometimes multiple times a week, were constantly destroyed in handicapped matches and even wore womens cheer leading outfits on at least one occasion. They were the epitome of glorified jobbers and jokes.Quote:

CM Punk. IMO he has done nothing great in WWE yet, but many fans remember him from ROH and TNA so they cheer for him.
Definately Punk, he has been awesome.
CM Punk is already a fan favorite and being groomed to become the next champion, if not of ECW, then of whichever show he is tradded to.
