Genichiro Tenryu’s retirement road continues as a big tag match has been announced for the next Tenryu Project show on September 2nd at the Korakuen Hall.

It will be Genichiro Tenryu teaming with freelance wrestler Katsuyori Shibata as they take on the Suzuki-gun team of Minoru Suzuki and Takashi Iizuka.

The show will also see two title defense as Dragon JOKER and Kotaro Nasu will face-off over the vacant UWA World Jr. belt and Kawakami, Buki & Hikaru Sato defend the World 6 MAn Tag belts against Arashi, Kitahara, and Murakami. The 51 year old Kitahara will be making his in-ring return after spending the last 5 years on the sideline. Kitahara claims that he is finally in a healthy condition to compete and wants to actively compete once more before his teacher Tenryu officially retires this year.
