Sting "Doing Great" After Crazy Ladder Dive Through Tables On AEW Dynamite
Wrestling legend Sting is said to be "doing great" after his insane dive-off-a-ladder-through-tables last week on AEW Dynamite.
The 64-year-old legend teamed with Darby Allin against The Painmaker (Chris Jericho) Sammy Guevara. It was Allin who climbed the ladder first, but Sting met him at the top and convinced him to step aside. With the packed arena holding their breath in amazement, Sting took flight and landed on Guevara, who was laid out on two tables at ringside.
Sting came up a bit short and was left bloodied from the jump, but finished the match and even addressed the audience after Dynamite went off the air.
Darby Allin appeared on Busted Open Radio earlier today and said his partner is "actually doing great," all things considered.
"We talked the day after and [Sting] said he was feeling great"
Allin is known for his death-defying stunts, but Sting has been doing some pretty crazy dives of his own in recent years. For anybody thinking Sting may have been pressured into jumping off the ladder through tables, think again.
"He’s just like, ‘Alright, there’s a ladder here tonight, I’ll jump off it.’ A lot of people think it’s me being the bad influence, but nah, it’s him. He’s got that hunger... He’s feeling great and I’m stoked.”
