Nikki Bella Addresses Fans Calling Her A ‘Whore’
Nikki Bella has responded to cruel fan comments.
The WWE Hall of Famer filed for divorce from her husband Artem Chigvintsev, in September last year, after Chigvintsev was arrested on a domestic violence charge in August. Though the Napa County DA later declined to file criminal charges against Artem, stating that there wasn’t enough evidence to file charges.
The wrestling veteran referenced this messy end of her relationship while responding to fan comments on the latest episode of The Nikki and Brie Show. Nikki Bella discussed how some fans feel no hesitation in calling her a whore while she hasn’t had physical intimacy in a long time:
"It’s funny when people call me a whore when I actually haven’t had intimacy in a really long time. Even think of kissing. I haven’t even kissed someone in so long. It’s kind of crazy. I was thinking about this last night, like, ‘Do I still know how to kiss?’ You know when it’s been so long?"
Nikki Bella has been focusing on wrestling this year, after making her return to WWE at Royal Rumble. What was originally intended to be a short return has turned into a full run with matches against the likes of Becky Lynch and Chelsea Green.
The WWE legend has most recently been involved in a storyline with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. She turned on the WWE rookie during the November 10 episode of Raw after teaming with her for a while. Though Nikki failed to win the title from Vaquer at the Survivor Series: WarGames event later that month.
