Austin Theory’s Status With The Vision Heading Into 2026
The following contains spoilers for the December 22 episode of WWE Raw, taped December 19 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Austin Theory appears poised to officially join The Vision as WWE heads into 2026.
During the December 22 episode, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed were featured in a backstage segment discussing whether Theory should be allowed to join their faction. Later in the show, Theory teamed with Reed to defeat CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, with Theory pinning Mysterio for the victory. Breakker appeared after the match as all members of The Vision stood tall to close the segment.
Theory has been off WWE television since July, when his tag team with Grayson Waller was quietly disbanded. Reports indicated he had been removed from WWE’s internal active roster in August, fueling speculation about his status with the company.
The Vision was formed earlier this year by Seth Rollins, who was later ousted from the group in October after Breakker and Reed turned on him. The faction added Logan Paul ahead of Survivor Series, where they won the Men’s WarGames match alongside Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre.
With Theory now aligned with the group on television, an official announcement of his membership could come on the January 5 episode of Raw.
