Backstage Update On Legitimate Injury At AAA Taping
:aaa:
Octagon Jr. recently suffered a legitimate injury at the AAA Noche de los Grandes Week Two tapings but he is expected to make a full recovery.
Reports suggest that the injury occurred during a five-way match involving Octagon Jr., Joaquin Wilde, Mini-Vikingo, Lince Dorado, and Cruz Del Toro. Wilde delivered a top-rope DDT that did not land properly, prompting the referee to immediately signal a legitimate injury with the X sign. Octagon Jr. was subsequently stretchered out.
PWInsider has reported that the luchador is expected to be out of action for approximately a few months. There is no word yet on the specific nature of the injury.
This is the second time in recent AAA history that the X sign has been thrown for a hurt wrestler, as initial reports of the incident raised injury fears following the taping.
